Summary

Increase the length of the object so that one face of a 3D body meets another face.

 

How to Run

  • Ribbon Menu > [Edit] Tab > [Edit Shape] Group > Fit Face

 

Explanation

Select Face Method

This method selects the face of an existing object for another target object to extend and come in contact with.

  • [Select Target]
    Select the target face of the 3D Body to extend and com in contact with another face.

  • [Method]
    Select the Select Face Method.

  • [Select Tool]
    Select the Tool object to use when increasing the length of the object.

 

 

Define Plane Method

This method defines a new plane for another target object to extend and come in contact with.

  • [Select Target]
    Select the target face of the 3D Body to extend and com in contact with another face.

  • [Method]
    Select the Define Plane Method.

  • [Define Plane]
    Define a plane using 3 points to use when extending the length of the object.
