Apply a fillet or chamfer to the edge of a 1D, 2D Member or a 3D Body.

 

How to Run

  • Ribbon Menu > [Edit] Tab > [Edit Shape] Group > Chamfer

 

Explanation

Fillet Feature

This feature applies a fillet to the edge of a solid.

  • [Blend Type]
    Select fillet.

  • [Select Edge]
    Select the edge to apply the fillet.

  • [Fillet Radius]
    Enter the length of the arc radius for the fillet.

 

 

Chamfer Feature

This feature applies a chamfer to the edge of a solid.

[Tab] Generate

  • [Blend Type]
    Select chamfer..

  • [Select Edge]
    Select the edge to apply the chamfer.

  • [Fillet Radius]
    Enter the length of the arc radius for the chamfer.

 

  • By Gizmo distance, By face offset Method

Set how the entered length is applied.

 

  • One Direction, Two Direction Method

Set whether the length in both directions is entered as one unit or in two separate units.

 

 

If the Two Direction Method is selected, By Face Offset Method is applied to the length as the By Gizmo Distance Method.
