Summary

This feature changes the start and end direction of the 1D Geometry.

 

How to Run

  • Ribbon Menu > [Edit] Tab > [Edit Shape] Group > Modify > 1D Direction

 

Explanation

Modify(1D Direction) Feature

Reverses the orientation of the 1D Geometry.

  • [Method]
    Select the Method to change the 1D direciton.

    • Reverse : Reverses the direction of the selected 1D Geometry.

    • Align : Sorts the selected 1D Geometry’s start and end points based on the point that is closer to the reference vertex.

  • [Select Target]
    Select a 1D Geometry.

  • [Select Reference Vertex]

    • Displays when Method > Align.

If the 1D Member is created using two points, (0,0,0) and (2000,0,0), the properties window of the corresponding member is as follows.

If the geometry of the 1D Member is reversed, the shape does not change but the properties are changed as shown below.
