Q. I would like to apply chamfer/fillet to the edge of a solid.

 

A. Use the Edit tab under Edit Shape > Chamfer to perform the operation.

 

  • Chamfer/Fillet is applied to an edge of a solid element (1D Member, 2D Member, 3D Member, and 3D Body Type). ( See Solid Element Concept )

 

Generate Option / By Gizmo distance & By face offset

  • One Direction: Same chamfer length is applied to each face

  • Two Direction: Different chamfer lengths are applied to each face

  • Same chamfer length is applied to each face

  • The chamfer length can be adjusted

  • Different chamfer lengths are applied to each face

  • The chamfer length can be adjusted in each direction
