Define Plane Feature

This feature defines the plane during the positioning, creating and editing of objects. The plane can be defined using the four methods shown below.

  • Plane (By Select)

    • Selects a particular plane for use as a tool for placement, creating and editing.

  • Plane (3 Points)

    • Defines a plane using three points for use as a tool for placement, creating and editing.

 

  • Plane (Curve normal)

    • Defines a plane normal to a particular curve for use as a tool for placement, creating and editing.

  • Plane (By offset)

    • Uses an offset plane from a selected surface for use as a tool for placement, creating and editing.
