  • Ribbon Menu > [Model] Tab > [Component] Group > Tendon > Tendon Profile

 

Explanation


Tendon Profile Group Definition

Before defining a Tendon Profile, the Tendon Profile Group needs to be defined first.


[Tab] Define

  • [Select Tendon Profile Group]
    Select the Tendon Profile Group. A new Tendon Profile Group can be created or an existing Tendon Profile Group can be selected.

  • [Classification]
    Type a name for the Tendon profile group.

  • [Setting]
    Enter the unit length of the profile, and set Profile Points.

  • Add : Add a row to the Profile Points Table.

  • Delete : Delete a row in the Profile Points Table.

  • [Profile Points Table]

    • Name : Enter the name of the Profile Point.

    • Location : Enter the location of each point.

    • Alignment : Sets the method of calculating the Profile Point position according to the length change.

      • By Distance : Profile Point is calculates and responds to distance information away from the Reference Point.

      • By Ratio : Calculates and responds to the ratio of the Profile Point position to the total length.

    • Reference Point : Specifies a reference point for Alignment > By Distance settings.

      • Start Point / End Point / User Defined

    • Ratio : When setting Reference Point > User Defined > Ratio, saves the Reference Point position from the user-entered ratio value.

 

Vertical Profile Definition

Define the Vertical Profile.

 

[Tab] Vertical Profile

  • [Profile List]
    A new profile can be created or an existing profile can be selected.

  • [Profile Name]
    Type the name of the profile.

  • [Curve Type]
    Select the linear type of the Tendon.

  • Spline : Place the Profile alignment by calculating the curve with the least curvature among the curves connecting the points.

  • Round : Draw a circle that corresponds to the Round value entered by the user on the straight line connecting the points and place the Profile alignment accordingly.

  • Polygonal : Place the Profile alignment by connecting the points in a straight line.

  • [Height]
    Enter the target height for the Vertical Profile.

  • [Add/Modify Profile]
    Register the selected profile in the Profile List, or apply the changes.

  • [Delete Profile]
    Deletes the selected profile from the Profile List.

  • [Vertical Profile Table]

    • Profile Point Settings : Sets the reference in the X direction.

    • Reference of Z : Sets the reference in the Z direction.

      • Top : The offset Z standard is at the top.

      • Bottom : The offset Z standard is the bottom.

    • Offset X : Enter the offset value from the specified Profile Point in the X direction.

    • Offset Z : Enter the offset value from the specified Reference of Z setting in the Z direction.

    • Radius : Enter the radius of the arc for the X-Z plane at the corresponding Tendon Point.

Horizontal Profile Difinition

Define the Horizontal Profile.

 

[Tab] Horizontal Profile

  • [Profile List]
    A new profile can be created or an existing profile can be selected.

  • [Profile Name]
    Type a name for the profile.

  • [Curve Type]
