Ribbon Menu > [Edit] Tab > [Edit Shape] Group > Divide > Surface

Explanation

Sub Shape(Face/Edge) Method

This method selects the Face or Edge of an existing object to determine the division point of the target object.

[Select Target]
Select the target object to divide.
[Method]
Select the Sub Shape(Face/Edge) method.
[Select Tool]
Click on the Select button and then select the Tool object to use in the process of dividing the Target object.

Infinite Tool : During projection, it is assumed that the secondary object is an infinitely extended object.

Body Method

This method selects an existing Body to determine the division point of the target object.

[Select Target]
Select the target object to divide.
[Method]
Select the Body method.
[Select Tool]
Click on the Select button and then select the Tool object to use in the process of dividing the Target object.

By Draw Method

This method defines a new line to determine the division point of the target object.

[Select Target]
Select the target object to divide.
[Method]
Select the By Draw method.
[Select Tool]
Create a tool object using the Sketch tool to use in the process of dividing the Target object.
