Trims the length of a 1D Wire/1D Member object at the insection with another line or face.

 

How to Run

  • Ribbon Menu > [Edit] Tab > [Edit Edge] Group > Trim

 

Explanation

Trim Feature

This feature trims the length of an object at the intersection with another line or face.

  • [Selection Filter]
    Selects the type of tool object to select. If Sub Shape is selected, the filter only allows Edges and Faces to be selected.

    Selects tool object to use in the trim process.

  • [Pick Target]
    Selects the target object to trim.

  • [Option]

    • Infinite Tool : This tool assumes the tool object to be an object that is infinitely extended. In the example on the left, identical results are shown regardless of On/Off state, since the selected face intersects the target object.
