Overview of Functions
Extrude the geometry (lines, faces) to create an upper geometry (face, solid).
Details of Functions
Generate Tab
Select target
Select the geometry (line or face) to perform the Extruding process.
Define direction
Set the direction of extraction.
Normal of Profile: If you can define the normal direction of the geometry for extraction carry out the extraction towards the normal direction of the geometry in order to extrude.
If there are several shapes to extract, they will be extruded in their normal direction.
Direction vector : Defines the direction vector for straight line extraction by inputting the coordinates of the start and the end points.
- Direct Input of Direction Vector Input directly the (x, y, z) value of the direction vector.
- Line(2 points) / By Select(Edge) : Draw or select a direction vector.
Generate
Length 1, 2 : Enter the extrusion direction in the positive (1) and the negative direction (2).
Boolean
None : It is created regardless of the previously created object.
Unite : Extruded object is created and merged with the object selected in Select master.
- Select Master : Selects the Master object to merged with the Extrude object.
Cut : The Extruded object is created and the selected object is cut from the Select master.
- Select Master : Use the Extruded object as a tool for selecting the object to be cut.
- Delete Tool : When checked on, the Boolean cut process is carried out and the Extruded object (tool) is deleted.
Twist
Angle : Creates an Extrude object by rotating the profile of the extracted location counterclockwise by the inputted value.
