Ribbon Menu > [Base] Tab > [Data] Group > Category > Object

Explanation

Setting Default Values

Enter a field configuration for each object type.

[Select Object]
- Member.Concrete
- Member.Steel
- Member.User
- Rebar
- Tendon
- Stiffener
- Bolt

You can configure an Object Category for each of the seven Object Types.

[Define Category]
- Each category can have one Configuration assigned to it.

You can view the field configuration via the Field Viewer, where a field scheme corresponds to a single Configuration.

Each category can have one Field Configuration assigned to it and one IFC Element mapped to it, so you need to define as many categories as you need.
