Summary


  • This is the function to define a 3D section to be created as a drawing based on the CIM 3D model.
    The section defined as 3D View can be drawn by linking the cross section information with MIDAS CAD INFRA-DESIGN (CAD ID).

 

How to Run


Base Mode

  • Ribbon Menu > [Application] Tab > [Drawing] Group > Drawing view >3D View

3D View entry route location

This is the process of creating a 3D view section using the CIM-3D View function.
The 3D View function is provided in each Library Mode, including Base Mode.
Using this function, you can create a 3D section that can be used as a drawing depending on the purpose from all models in the Library.
The explanation below explains the 3D View entry path in Base Mode and the 3D View entry path in Library Mode.

    The 3D View function in Base Mode can be executed in the Drawing view of the [Drawing] group under the [Application] tab.

How to use 3D View.

This process defines a section to be drawn using a CAD ID, enabling creation with the 3D View function.
The 3D View section's configuration can be adjusted by simultaneously pressing [Ctrl + Mouse Wheel] to change the model's position visible on the workspace screen.

 

 

 

 

  • Run CAD ID
    If you click the OK or Apply button after defining the 3D View function, this function calls up the CAD ID immediately.
    This option is only available in Base Mode.

  • Classification
    Defines the name of the section created with 3D View.

  • View Setting
    Set whether to save the Show/Hide state.

    • None : Show/Hide state is not saved.

    • Save : Save the Show/Hide state.

  • View List
    Add, modify, or delete the 3D View list.

    • Add
      Adds 3D View.
      At this time, the section visible on the work screen is saved as a thumbnail and becomes the 3D View section to be displayed as a CAD ID.

    • Modify
      Modifies the data of the selected 3D View.
      The name of the original section displayed in the CAD ID can be changed by changing it in the Modify environment here and then updating it.

    • Delete
      Delete the selected 3D View.
