Create Cross Section View

Summary


  • This function generates an Earthwork quantity table to calculate the average quantity of both cross sections based on the cross section modeled in cut soil in CIM.
    Depending on the option settings, Bench cut and slope inclination notation are supported on cross-sectional views.

 

How to Run


[CIM View Mode]

  • Ribbon Menu > [INFRA-DESIGN] Tab > Cross Section View > Create Cross Section View [CCS]

Run the Create Cross Section View [CCS] command or execute the Create Cross Section View function in the Cross Section View of the INFRA-DESIGN menu tab.

  • [Command]
    Execute Create Cross Section View from the tree menu or enter the shortcut key CCS in the command window.

Create Cross Section View

  • Style Save : When saving settings, the Earthwork quantity table style is saved in the settings value list.

  • Style Delete : When deleting a setting, the Earthwork quantity table style is deleted from the settings value list.

  • Import : Import the saved style file. The extension is (*.etd).

  • Export : Exports the currently selected style in the name as a (*.etd) file.

 

 

Select Cross Section

This is an option to determine the cross section selection method and select the cross section.

  • Select Layout :
    You can choose Layout.
    All cross sections included in the selected layout are selected, and the starting point, end point, and total length are automatically calculated based on the selected layout information.

  • Select Cross Section :
    When selected, the Picker button is activated, and you can select a cross section with the Picker button.

 

 

Earthwork quantity Setting

Options to set the items and styles of Earthwork quantity table

  • Table category settings :
    You can check the field items and field codes in the Earthwork quantity table.
    You can use the table provided by default, or you can import your own DWG block using ‘Import Block’ to customize the table.

  • Table content settings

    • Same as table style : Selecting this item will use the same settings as ‘Table category settings’.

    • layer : Select a layer in the Earthwork quantity table.

    • Text Style : Select a font from the Earthwork quantity table.

    • Arrange : Choose where to align the text in the Earthwork quantity table.

    • Accuracy : Select the number of decimal places to display for each item.

 

 

Setting Bench Cut

Option to set bench cut information

  • Create Bench Cut : Select whether to create Bench Cut.

  • Bench Cut Height : Enter the Bench Cut vertical height.

  • Minimum Height :
    If the height of the last bench cut is less than the minimum height, the bench cut is not performed and the drawing is continued from the previous bench cut.

  • Drainage Layer Slope : Enter the horizontal slope of the drainage.

  • Exception Slope : Positions below the entered slope value are excluded from layer picking.

  • Setting

    • Layer : Select the Bench Cut layer.

    • Hidden Line Scale : Select whether to apply hidden lines to Bench Cut.

    • Apply Stone Filled Drain to Cut and Fill Boundaries :
      Select whether to apply Stone Filled Drain to the Cut and Fill boundary.
      There are two types of application

    • Creating Method

      • Normal Area :
        Bench cut is performed without considering the distinction between subgrade and embankment.

      • Cut and Fill Boundaries :
        There is embankment above the distinction between subgrade and embankment, but continues below the pave.

 

 

Setting Slope

  • Slope Notation : Select whether or not to display Slope Notation.

  • Slope Text

    • Layer : Select the slope text layer.

    • Text Style : Select the slope text font.

 

 

 

  • Create Wipeout in Earth Work Quantity Table :
    This option is used to hide the overlapping notation between the cross-section object and the earthwork quantity table.
