Q. What is the Work Type?

 

A. It defines the work type and classification system, and plays a role in composing the aggregate table for each quantity work type.

 

The function of Work Type is a tool for composing the aggregate table for each quantity work type in the user environment.

Work type consists of Structure function and Field function.

  • Structure function: This is a function to set the classification system so that all types of objects provided by CIM can have a hierarchical structure.

  • Field function: It is a function to set the standard according to the material type of the object.

Therefore, in CIM, it is possible to create an aggregate table of quantity calculations by material / material based on the created model .


Step 1. This is the configuration of Work Type.

Work Type is a tool that composes the quantity calculation sheet and sets the quantity calculation range system.

If you click Work Type, you can move to the setting stage of Structure and Field as a sub-function.

It is a tool that can create a structural system that composes a quantity calculation statement.

[It is the same as the sheet structure system of Excel that appears through Excel linkage when generating the quantity calculation sheet.]

This is a function to set the work type and standard according to the object type that appears in the quantity calculation sheet.


Step 2. How to input Structure of Work Type is explained.

In the example of the figure), it was created based on the bridge - substructure.

Stage 1 – 1 Bridge Work [This is the 1st stage of the upper classification system. Classified for bridge construction.]

Step 3. This section describes how to input fields of Work Type.

The setting of Work Type > Field is a function to set the quantity-related work type and specification using the property information of the model.

  • Enter and select [ Strength / Material ]

Enter the name of strength in the concrete composition system, and select Material in the Fied Type to keep the property information of the material as it is.

  • Enter and select [ Pour / User Defined ]

Enter the name of Pour Concrete and select the User Defined Type to be used for Fied Type.

If you select User Defined , if you attach a tag to the item > Name below, for example) Pouring pump car (0~15m)

The Tag entered in the Quantity Accounting aggregation form is displayed.

  • Enter and select [ Strength / Grade ]

Enter the name of strength in the structure of the reinforcing bar material, and select Grade as the Fied Type to use the strength information of the reinforcing bar.

  • Enter and select [ Diameter / Diameter ]

Enter the diameter in the structure of the reinforcing bar material and select the Diameter type to be applied to the Fied Type .

[When writing the quantity calculation sheet, the counting by rebar diameter is completed.]

  • Input and select [ Machining Assembly / User Defined ]

Select User Defined and enter the item name required for rebar processing and assembly in Item > Name in advance

Step 4. Describe the material settings.

You can input and change the material information of the model object.

In the example in the figure), the example of changing the name of the concrete to be displayed in the quantity calculation was explained.

① Select Tool of Base mode > Property > Material .

② Select Material Type on the left side of CIM. In the example in the figure), the Concrete Type is set.

③ Select Standard Code of Material Type on the left side of CIM.

In the example of the figure), C24 of KS01 (KCI-2012) is selected.

Step 5. The process of entering quantity calculation attribute information into the CIM model is explained with a continuous video.

In the course of the video, you can use the Assign Tool to quickly input property information into the model (member).

The order of the videos is as follows.

1) Call Works Tree. (Shortcut key Alt+ ` )

2) Point Library - Modify Abutment (A1).

3) Assign > All Object > Structure: After entering the classification system for quantity calculation, select a model (member) and apply it.

4) Enter the construction scheme (Field) of the Reference object.

5) Assign > All Object > Field : Matchprop the configuration system (Field) of the Reference object to the Target object.

6) Check the content entered in the part


  • You can configure the type of aggregation in your environment to reflect the above.
