Q. What is the structure of CIM’s Library?

A. CIM’s Library consists of Point and Curve libraries for efficiency in the input and utilization of model data. These unit libraries are assembled in the Assembly Unit Mode to create the final model.

Alignment Based Parametric Modeling

  • Base Mode : This is the space where the alignment assignment and final model are created.

  • Assembly Unit : This is an intermediate model space for assembling models from the Point Library and Curve Library.
The Assembly Unit is then assigned to the alignment in the Base Mode.

  • Point Library : A sub-model space based on a location reference point.
After modeling is completed, it is possible to assign the model to the Curve Library, Assembly Unit, or Base Mode.

  • Curve Library : A sub-model space based on alignment.
After modeling is completed, it is possible to assign the model to the Assembly Unit or Base Mode.
