Explanation

Select Edge(s) Method

Create lateral stiffener using the Select Edge(s) method.

  • [Stiffener Type]
Select the type and method of stiffener to be drawn.

    • Select Transverse Stiffener.

    • Select Select Edge(s).

  • [Draw Stiffener]

titleDetailed Explanation (Draw Transverse Stiffener)
  • Sketch On Edge : Click the two points above the Edge in the Target Member section to create a lateral stiffener.

    • Reverse Direction : Apply the position of the stiffener in the opposite direction relative to the edge.

    • Point Alignment on Edge : Sets how to locate the location of the stiffener specified by the user on the edge when the stiffener is arranged.

      • By Ratio : Pick Point 1 and 2 points are stored and arranged as the ratio information above the edge.

      • By Distance : Arranged by storing Pick Point 1 and 2 points as relative position information from the nearest edge of the edge.

Sketch On Edge
    • stiffener's start and end positions in opposite directions.
