Q. Can I place Tendons using coordinates?

 

A. In Tendon Editor Mode, enter the Tendon's coordinates in the Import Profile tab to place the Tendon.

 

  • Anchorage selects the geometry defined in Base Mode > Model > Component > Tendon > Anchorage. (Figure. 1)

  • Tendon Editor Mode For the tendon after entry, define the profile and properties of the longitudinal and transverse tendons. (Figure. 2)

  • Tendon input method allows direct placement of tendons on the screen with the mouse, but below is an example of entering longitudinal tendons using table values ​​that can be easily extracted from the drawing (Tendon Arrangement Detail).

Tendon Import Profile Inputs Using Table Values

The Tendon Import Profile input window is as follows. (Figure 3)

  • Excel can be pasted in the format below.

  • Tendon name : Defines the name of the Tendon.

  • Station : Enter the absolute position value for the length of the longitudinal tendon.

  • Horiz. off: Horizontal distance based on the Ref Point in the section of the PSC BOX when placing the Tendon (Fig. 4)

  • Ver. off: Vertical distance based on the Ref Point in the section of the PSC BOX when placing the Tendon (Fig. 4)
