Summary

  • Sets a user coordinate system that does not follow the global coordinate system.

 

How to Run

  • Ribbon Menu > [Model] Tab > [Tools] Group > UCS

 

Explanation

UCS Coordinate Settings

Define the user coordinate system (UCS).

  • [Classification]
    Set the ID and name of the UCS coordinate system.

  • [Coordinate System]
    Use 3 points method to set the USC coordinate system.

    • Reference point : select the origin of the UCS coordinate system. Once selected, the coordinates of the origin are displayed.

    • X-axis : select a point in the x direction of the UCS coordinate system. Once selected, a vector in the x-direction is displayed.

    • Y-axis : select a point in the y direction of the UCS coordinate system. Once selected, a vector in the y-direction is displayed.

  • Registered UCS can be selected from the coordinate system filter at the bottom of the screen.

  • If select UCS, actions such as Sketch are worked based on the UCS specified by the user.
