Coordinate System

Summary

  • Set the Coordinate System of Project.

How to Run

[Model Mode]

  • Ribbon Menu > [Base] Tab > [Option] Group > Coordinate

Explanation

Coordinate System

Set the Coordinate System of Project.

  • [Origin Point]
Determines the location of the origin point of the CIM.

If the coordinates at the start of the bridge (100, 100, 30), set the Origin Point to (100, 100, 30).

Reference Coordinate is set the coordinate system of Korea. Because it was defined with Reference Coordinate, the origin is (200000,600000,0) and the origin set (100,100,30), so the coordinates of the origin are (199900,599900,-30).

The values to which the coordinate system is applied can be checked by Model > Measure

On the CIM screen, the output is relative to (0,0,0).

  • [Northern Direction]
Defines a north-north direction. It can be set in three dimensions and is used when rotating in a northnorth direction for convenience of model construction.

  • [Coordinate Reference System]
Select the coordinate system to apply.

    • Geodetic DB(Offline) : Use the coordinate system stored in CIM.

    • EPSG DB(Online) : CThe coordinate system that is not stored in the CIM is retrieved from the Online DB.

    • User defined : The user enters the coordinate system manually.

  • Geodetic DB(Offline) Method : Use the coordinate system stored in CIM.

  • Geodetic DB(Offline)

    • Region : Set the region.

    • Nation : Set the country in the region.

    • Select the coordinate system associated with that country.

  • EPSG DB(Online) Method : The coordinate system that is not stored in the CIM is retrieved from the Online DB.

  • EPSG DB(Online)

    • Search : Search for a country or a coordinate system.

    • The coordinate system that is found is displayed.

  • User Defined Method : The user enters the coordinate system manually.

  • [Conversion Method]
A method of applying a coordinate system and projecting it to the CIM. Default is set to the Transverse Mercator method.

  • [Natural Origin]
Select the units that represent the coordinate system in the UI.

    • Degree : Express degree using decimal point.

    • Degree/Minute/Second : Express in Degree/Minute/Second.

  • [Datum Factor]
When using a survey origin - Value entered to prevent the occurrence of signs.

    • Scale Factor : Set the scale factor.

    • False Easting : Removes sign from the longitude.

    • False Nojrthing : Remove sign from the latitude.

  • [Ellipsoid]
    Define ellipsoid.

    • Equatorial Radius : Enter the equatorial radius.

    • Polar Radius : Enter the polar radius.

  • [Reference Coordinate]
Enter the origin of the coordinate system.

    • North/East : Enter as distance.

    • Degree : Enter as longitude/latitude as decimals.

    • Degree/Minute/Second : Show in Degree/Minute/Seconds.
