Summary


  • This is a function to regenerate the section of a section member created from CIM by clipping some sections using ellipsis lines. (Cut part)

 

How to Run


[CIM View Mode]

  • Ribbon Menu > [INFRA-DESIGN] Tab> View > Clipping View [VC]

 

Explanation


How to use cutting view

The feature can be executed by using the Shortcut Command Clipping View [VC] or by selecting the Clipping View feature in the View tab of the INFRA-DESIGN menu.

  • [Command]
    Execute Clipping view from the tree menu or enter the shortcut key VC in the command window.

  • [Command]

    • Specify clip view offset distance [Specify preview offset distance(P) <1000> : 1000
      (lightbulb) Specifies the offset distance to be expressed by cutting the member.

    • Specify preview offset distance(P) : P
      (lightbulb) You can specify the offset distance between part cut lines to be displayed in the preview.
      If you enter the same value as the clip view offset distance, the length of the member is fixed and only the member is cut.

     

    • Specify first point or [Undo(U)] :
      (lightbulb) Specify a point to be the location of the first part cut line.

    • Specify next point
      (lightbulb) Specify the point at the next location where the part will be cut.

    • Specify point on side to offset [Undo(U)] :
      (lightbulb) You can specify the direction of the cutting line with the mouse.

The section break line effect can be selected and applied in the section clipping option in the general options.

On : Apply break line effect

Off : Do not apply the break line effect (straight line expression)
