Feature Summary

[Shortcut Command : CV]

Create an additional section in Drafter on the section created from CIM.

Feature Explanation

Generate Drawing > View > Cutting View

The feature can be executed by using the Shortcut Command CUTTINGVIEW (CV) or by selecting the Cutting View feature in the View tab of the Generate Drawing menu.

Executing the Cutting View command → Set the title of the Section Name → Set the numbering order of Section name → Set the Section Name → Draw the Cutting locations by using 2 Points.

Prefix Text <Section> : The value in <> shows the currently set Prefix . Set the Prefix as the title and set the numbering order according to the settings. (ex. Section1., Section2, Section3….)

Number[Alphabet(A)/Number(N)/Manual(M)]: Displays prefixes followed by numbers or alphabets, depending on the setting of this option. The value after the last number or alphabet used is automatically appended. If Manual is selected, the user enters it directly.

Section Name <Section 1-1> : The value in <> indicates the Section Name to be cut. This step allows the user to decide which name will eventually be applied.

Drafter's Cutting Section is created with the width of the section only as much as the size of the front and rear visible range set when cutting the view in CIM. Taking the above picture as an example, if the user combines the front and rear visible ranges in the Cutting Box to create a view with a size of 10m, and cut the section in Drafter, a 10m long section is created.
