Overview of Functions
This function converts files in MCT format (* .mct) into 3D CAD models of midas CIM.
When clicking the Import button, the file explorer is turned on so that you can select a file with the extension *.mct.
When pressing the Open button, the file name appears on the screen and you are ready to import.

Fit model
When Use curve fitting is turned on, it applies 'Edit> Fit Curve‘ to continuous element(s) that are subject to model creation through *.mct .
Curve type : Use Polyline or Spline-interpolation to convert continuous element(s) into a compatible 1D member in midasCIM
Effective angle : Enter the angle made to Local direction of Element(s). Curve fitting option is applied only when it is less than the entered value.
