Q. I want to arrange objects according to a rule according to a path.
A. You can do that through the Sweep Translate function.
The Sweep Translate function moves and copies the target object along a selected random path.
In the example below, we will examine the function to copy the selected target object along an arbitrary (semicircle: R=10.0m) path.
Pattern Spacing & User Defined
When the target object (Solid) is copied at intervals of 5m for the length of the arc (circumference) defined as a path (R=10.0m) (Figure. 1)
When the target object (Solid) is copied at intervals of 2m, 4m, 6m, 8m, and 10m for the length of the arc (circumference) defined as a path (R=10.0m) (Figure. 2)

Figure. 2 User Defined (2, 4, 6, 8, 10m)
Uniform Divisions
When the target object (Solid) is copied to a point divided by 5 for the length of the arc (circumference) defined as a path (R=10.0m) (Figure. 3)
Min. Clearance : 1.0m is when the target object is copied to a point divided into 5 equal parts for the length of an arc (circumference) 1.0m away from the END point of the defined path (R=10.0m) (Figure. 4)
Figure. 3 Uniform Divisions (Min. Clearance : 0.0m)
Figure. 4 Uniform Divisions (Min. Clearance : 1.0m)
Uniform Max. Spacing
Uniform Max. Spacing = When copied with equal values smaller than 10m (Figure. 5)
The circumference of a semicircle is πr=31.4m, so if you divide it into equal parts less than 10m, 4 objects are copied (Figure. 6)
Figure. 5 Uniform Max. Spacing (Spacing=10.0m)
Figure. 6 Uniform Max. Spacing (Spacing=10.0m, Min. Clearance=1.0m)
Uniform Min. Spacing
Uniform Min. In the case of copying equally divided by a value greater than Spacing=10m (Figure. 7)
Since the circumference of a semicircle is πr=31.4m, if it is divided by a value greater than 10m, 3 objects are copied (Figure. 8)

Alignment
Follow Horizontal Path Axis: When checked, it is defined as the local coordinate system of the path based on the horizontal direction of the object. (Default : Check on) (Figure. 9)
Follow Vertical Path Axis: When checked, it is defined as the local coordinate system of the path based on the vertical direction of the object. (Figure. 10)
