How to Run


  • Ribbon Menu > [Base] Tab > [Data] Group > Category > Object

Explanation


Setting Default Values

Enter a field configuration for each object type.

  • [Select Object]

    • Member.Concrete

    • Member.Steel

    • Member.User

    • Rebar

    • Tendon

    • Stiffener

    • Bolt

You can configure an Object Category for each of the seven Object Types.

  • [Name]

    • The unit to which you assign a Field Configuration.

      • Line 1 is entered with the Object name (e.g. Member.Concrete) as the default value and can be edited by the user.

      • Concrete Beam → Field Configuration A

      • Concrete Column → Field Configuration B

      • Concrete Slab → Field Configuration C

      • Concrete Wall → Field Configuration D

    • The unit to which the IFC Element is mapped.

      • Concrete Beam → IfcBeam

      • Concrete Columm → IfcColumn

      • Concrete Slab → IfcSlab

      • Concrete Wall → IfcWall

Each category can have one Field Configuration assigned to it and one IFC Element mapped to it, so you need to define as many categories as you need.
