Q.

Layout

The layout is not created

normally

properly.

A. If

alignment

a linear coordinate value outside

of

the coordinate

creation

range provided by CIM is input, the

layout cannot be created

Layout is not generated.

The working space of the CIM is limited to ±500KM in the direction of the coordinate axis relative to the origin. an axial direction ±500 KM based on the origin.

Therefore, all model modeling work in CIM must be carried out within a working space of 500KM500KM of the workspace.

Figure 1. CIM 's workspaceWorkspace

If alignment a linear coordinate value outside of the coordinate generation range provided by CIM is input, alignment generation the line is not possiblegenerated.

The Additional details of the CIM workspace will be further explained discussed through the layout creation process of creating the layout.

Figure 2. Assuming that assumes the CIM workspace is a rectangular line, the layout is created in the area that exceeds as the line of the square and has created a Layout in an area outside the coordinate range.

In the case of the following this situation, the layout is not created with an error message '[Error] Fail to create Layout Curve' is output and the Layout is not created.

In order to To successfully create the layout normally corresponding Layout in CIM,

① Move the layout Layout coordinates into the CIM workspace , or

How

Method to move

the

layout coordinates into the CIM workspace

If the Origin Point was is created outside the coordinate range between layout creationwhen creating the Layout, or If if the X ,and Y coordinates on of the layout Layout are outside ±500KM from the origin, the layout will be out of Layout is considered to be outside the CIM workspace.

To move the layout Layout coordinates into the CIM workspace,

● Move the layout Layout into the CIM coordinate space by modifying the Origin Point.

● Input Method of the Layout Sub Panel - Modify the X, Y coordinates of By X,Y

Using the two methods above, the Layout can be successfully created normally within in the CIM workspace.

How

Method to match the

CIM's

coordinate system of the CIM with the actual coordinate system

If the civil coordinate range of the structure in Base mode is out of outside the working space of CIM ,

To create a layout in the CIM workspace, you must turn on the Geographic Coordinate button.

If you turn on workspace, the Geographic Coordinate button must be turned on to create the layout within the CIM workspace.

If the Geographic Coordinate button is set to On, the coordinates set in using the Coordinate function feature are automatically updated.

If the Geographic Coordinate button is disabled, if you apply the Coordinate function feature in the main panel of the Base Mode ,The to activate the Geographic Coordinate button is activated, allowing you to so the user can select On/Off.

Figure 9. shows the items activated inputs that are enabled when the Coordinate function feature is executedused.

Point A is the origin coordinate , which Origin Point that can be arbitrarily designated specified by the user as the coordinates on the in CIM.

Direction B is the true north direction, and the true north direction Northern Direction of the CIM model space that can be entered in input as a vector form, and the default setting value is . It is set as the Y-axis direction by default.

Point C is the reference point on the real actual coordinate system that you want needs to coincide be matched with point Point A as the reference coordinate .

The operation process of using the Coordinate function is feature are as follows.:

Coordinate - Match the origin coordinate coordinates (A) set in Oringin Point with of the Origin Point to the reference coordinate coordinates (C).

The true north direction Rotate the Northern Direction (B) set in Northern Direction is rotated based on relative to A so that it matches with the north North Direction (N) direction on the actual coordinate system.

With Using the process above process, match the CIM coordinate system and of the CIM with the actual coordinate system are matched through using the Coordinate functionfeature.

As mentioned abovepreviously, when if the Geographic Coordinate is turned on in the process of creating/editing layout,

It's something that can automatically update a matched real-world coordinate system to create a layout.

set to On while creating or editing the Layout, the matched actual coordinate system is updated automatically to create the Layout.

If By using the Coordinate function is setfeature, the structure in the CIM can be exported and placed in user can export structures from CIM and place them into an external program, such as Google MapMaps, orModels from external programs created based on real-world coordinate systems

or bring a model created in an external program based on a real coordinate system, such as satellite terrain can be imported , into the CIM workspace.
