This function converts files in from MCT format (* .mct) into 3D CAD models of in midas CIM.

When clicking the Import buttonfunction is selected, the file explorer is turned on so that you can will be launched to select a midas Civil file with the extension *.mct.When pressing

After selecting the file, press the Open button , the file name appears on the screen and you are ready to importto create the 3D CAD object on the work view.

When Use the “Use curve fitting fitting” is turned on, it applies 'Edit> Fit Curve‘ to continuous element(s) that are subject to model creation through in *.mct model while creating CIM model.

  • Curve type : Use Polyline or Spline-interpolation to convert continuous element(s) into a compatible 1D member in midasCIMmidas CIM

  • Effective angle : Enter the angle made to of the Local direction of Element(s). Curve fitting option is applied only when it is less than the entered value.
