Summary
Create an Assembly Unit for the PSC Beam Bridge type using the library in the program.
How to Run
[Base Mode]
Ribbon Menu > [Base] Tab > [Library] Group > Template
PSC Beam Bridge
Explanation
General Tab
[General Information]
Template Name : Enter the name of the Assembly Unit to be created.
Run Modify Mode after Creation : : If turned on, the Assembly Unit Mode automatically runs when you create the template after entering all the settings so that the created template model can be modified.
Layout Tab
Enter the span configuration of the bridge.
[Bridge Information]
Number of Spans : Sets the number of spans. The template supports up to five consecutive spans.
[Guide]
Shows the variable information that defines the span configuration.[Configuration]
Support Name : Sets the library to be placed at the end of each span.
Span Length : The final length for each span is automatically calculated and output based on the entered variable.
Girder Length : Enter the Girder Length.
Expansion Length : Enter the Expansion Length.
Slab Protrusion Length : Enter the Slab Protrusion Length of the girder.
Girder Connection : Enter the number of supports for the Girder Connection. 2Shoe is currently supported.
Bearing Location B1 : Enter the distance between the continuous span girder end point to the support center.
Bearing Location B2 : Enter the distance between the continuous span girder start point to the support center.
Height Spacing : Enter the girder height.
Model Tab
Cross Section
Enter the road cross section components (girder placement) of the bridge.
Consider Bearing Bridge Widening : When set to On, the bridge widening input window for the beginning of the AUB model is activated.
Girder Alignment : Enter the offset between the alignment center and the structure center.
Girder Number : Sets the number of girders for the traverse cross section of the bridge. The provided template supports up to 10EA.
Layout Offset : Enter the offset between the alignment center and the structure center.
Girder Spacing : Enter the girder spacing.
Girder-1 : Enter the offset between the leftmost girder and the structure center across the bridge.
Girder-2, …, n : Enter the girder interval.
Press Apply to automatically enter according to girder spacing between girders.
Deck Slab
Enter the road cross section component information (pavement/slab/railing/median strip) of the bridge.
Consider Bearing Bridge Widening : When set to On, the bridge widening input window for the beginning of the AUB model is activated.
Pave. Thickness : Enter the thickness of the road pavement.
Slab Thickness : Enter the slab thickness.
Vertical Sag : Enter the additional separation distance for the vertical girder position.
Deck Width : Enter the width of the girder.
Spacing(L1) : Enter the width of the left railing of the bridge traverse cross section.
Spacing(L2) : The width of the left side road of the bridge traverse cross section is automatically input. (Entire Road Width - (Median Strip + Left Barrier + Right Barrier)) / 2
Spacing(L3) : Enter the median strip width.
Spacing(L4) : The width of the right side road to the cross section of the bridge is automatically input. (Entire Road Width - (Median Strip + Left Barrier + Right Barrier)) / 2
Spacing(L5) : Enter the width of the right railing of the bridge traverse cross section.
Type(L1 ~ 5) : Set the type of structure that will be placed at Spacing (L1 to 5).
Cross Beam
Enter the cross beam information of the bridge.
Consider Bearing Bridge Widening : When set to On, the bridge widening input window for the beginning of the AUB model is activated.
[Cross Beam Location]
Mid. Cross Beam : : Set the number of cross beams. The template supports up to three cross beams.
Spacing(BS) : : Enter the position of the starting crossbeam in the longitudinal direction of the girder.
Spacing(CR1) : Enter the location of the middle cross beam from the initial location of cross beam.
Spacing(CR2) : Enter the position of the middle cross beam from the final location of cross beam.
Spacing(BE) : Enter the final location of cross beam in the direction of the girder length.
Additional spacings that define the cross beam location are activated depending on the number of middle cross beams.
[Girder Dimension & Cross Beam Detail]
Girder
a : Enter the center width of the Girder.
b : Enter the width of the Girder.
c : Enter the height of the Girder.
End Cross Beam
a : : Enter the height of the End Cross Beam.
b : Enter the thickness of the End Cross Beam.
Middle Cross Beam
a : Enter the height of the Middle Cross Beam.
b : Enter the thickness of the Middle Cross Beam.
Girder, End Cross Beam, Middle Cross Beam are not variables that determine the library dimensions.
Bearing Setting
Enter the bearing setting for each girder.
Consider Bearing Bridge Widening : When set to On, the bridge widening input window for the beginning of the AUB model is activated.
Bearing Height : Enter the bearing height. Click Apply to apply the height to all bearings.
Girder-1(Start) ~ 7(End) : The height can also be entered individually for each bearing.
The number of girders depend on the Girder Number enteers in the Cross Section tab.
