Removes overlapping regions between 1D, 2D, 3D Members and other Members.

 

How to Run


[Base Mode]

  • Ribbon Menu > [Model] Tab > [Property] Group > Cutting

[Point Library Mode]

  • Ribbon Menu > [Model] Tab > [Property] Group > Cutting

[Curve Library Mode]

  • Ribbon Menu > [Model] Tab > [Property] Group > Cutting

[Assembly Unit Mode]

  • Ribbon Menu > [Model] Tab > [Property] Group > Cutting

 

Explanation


Specific Type

Target/Tool members are specified and cutting properties are applied between them.

[Tab] Assign / Remove

  • [Cutting Property Function Type]
    Select the Cutting Property function type.

    • Create Cutting Property

      • Assigns Cutting Property to the object.

    • Remove Cutting Property

      • Removes the assigned Cutting Property from the object.

  • [Cutting Property Type]
    Select the type of Cutting Property.

    • Specific : Target/Tool members are specified and cutting properties are applied between them.

    • General : Apply Cutting Property between unspecified members designated as Target and unspecified members designated as Tool.

  • Specific

    • It can be set only within the same mode, and the result is valid even after assignment.

    • One Target member can store more than one Tool member information.

  • General

    • The settings are also valid for members from different libraries.

    • The members store Target/Tool information.

  • [Select Target]
    Selects the target object from which to remove any overlapping region. Only one can be selected.

    • Name : The name of the selected part is output.

  • [Select Tool]
    Selects tool object to use in the process of removing the overlapping region. Only one can be selected.

    • Name : The name of the selected part is output.

 

General Type

Apply Cutting Property between unspecified members designated as Target and unspecified members designated as Tool.

  • [Cutting Property Function Type]
    Select the Cutting Property function type.

    • Create Cutting Property

      • Assigns Cutting Property to the object.

    • Remove Cutting Property

      • Removes the assigned Cutting Property from the object.

    Select the type of Cutting Property.

    • General : Target/Tool members of General Type can be selected.

  • [Select Target]
    Select the member to remove the Cutting Property. You can select more than one.
