Overview of Functions
Extends the target geometry to the tool object.
Details of Functions
Generate Tab
On/Off Option
When checked, the Fit Face function is applied to the original shape of the target object.
Select target
Select the 3D objects (Member, Body) to extend.
Tool type
You can choose the type of tool object for the extension.
Select Face(s) : You can select Face (s) as the tool object.
Select Sheet Body : You can select Sheet Body as a tool object.
Define Plane : You can define your own Plane to use as a tool object.
Select tool
Displayed when Type is Select Face (s) or Select Sheet Body
You can select the tool object Face (s) or Sheet Body.
Define plane
Displayed when Type is Define Plane
You can define your own Plane to use as a tool object.
By Select : Select a face on the plan drawing to define the vertical plane.
3 Points : Plane is defined by consisting of 3 points by taking 3 points on the plan drawing.
Curve Normal : Defines a vertical plane as a plane by selecting a point on the line on the plan drawing.
By Offset : By selecting an existing face on the plan drawing and define the plane at an offset position.
Option
Displayed when Type is Select Sheet Body
If checked, the tool object is deleted after executing the function.
