Program description
Summary
MIDAS CAD INFRA-DESIGN (referred to as CAD ID) is a program that provides 2D CAD drawings linked with 3D models of MIDAS CIM based on 2D CAD functions.
In CIM View Mode, the user can create or edit 2D CAD linked to CIM. In CAD View Mode, the user can freely work on CAD drawings using general 2D CAD functions.
In CAD View Mode, the user can work by referring to the section created in CIM View Mode, and if the user maintain the reference state, the update of the CIM model is reflected and updated in CAD Mode.
Basic Concept
CAD ID sets the drawings in the CIM library in advance and saves the drawings together in the CIM Library file to manage them.
Drawing settings saved in the CIM library file are updated together when the CIM library is updated.
In the CIM model, users can draw anywhere they want. When the CIM model is completed and the section to be drawn is cut, CAD ID is connected to the CIM and executed, and a 2D CAD section is created.

Interworking relationship between CIM and CAD ID
CAD ID can execute CIM files independently, but it must work in conjunction to receive the latest CIM model data.
The process of extracting drawings from CIM generally proceeds in the following order.
