Q. I want to extract the 3D Modeling file as an IFC file.

 

A. You can convert through the Export - IFC tab of the File Menu.

 

This function converts the 3D Modeling file (*.cimz) worked on the midas CIM program into *.ifc.

IFC file is a neutral format (extension) that enables compatibility and view with third-party programs.

The figure below compares the *.cimz file created by midas CIM with the *.ifc file created through the Export IFC function.
