Q. I would like to create an Elastic Link member.
A. The following tasks can be performed through the Elastic Link feature.
This feature sets the boundary link conditions necessary for the analysis in 3D Modeling.
Creates an Elastic Link member. This integrates with the midas Civil boundary condition elements when exporting the analysis model.
Let’s look at the example below.
1) Select Elastic Link under Structure.
2) Select the start and end vertices under Create Tab.
3) After selecting the vertices, enter the stiffness values.

Note
Settings can be applied to the member elements with the cardinal point line.
The Link Type supports General, Rigid, Tension Only and Compression Only.
