Q. I would like to change the object’s analysis information.
A. Selecting the member opens the property window of that member.
This feature shows and edits the analysis information of the object.
The BIM model is a model that can be designed, constructed and maintained, hence there is a clear difference from the analysis model.
Only the part in the BIM model that acts as a structure should be linked to the analysis model.
midas CIM Modeling defines all the parts that make up the structure.
During analysis, it is necessary to separate the part that is to be defined as the structure and the part that is to be defined as the load.
This option separates the parts.
Let’s look at the example below.
1) Select Property after selecting the object on the screen.
2) Select Analysis Type => Provides Structural Member / Nonstructural Member / Void options.
Structural Member : Export as 1D/2D elements during structural analysis.
Nonstructural Member : Does not export as elements during structural analysis.
Void : A void is a non-existent element that cannot define material information and is not exported as an element during structural analysis.
