Select the Constraint Space where the Curve Library will be placed.

  • [Constraint Path]
Select the Constraint Space where the Curve Library will be placed.

  • [Alignment]
Set the direction to assign of Curve Library.

    • From Start : Assign the Constraint Path start point to the end point.

  • Align Type : Set the constraint method of the cross section that creates the shape when the library is assigned to the parent mode

    • Unconstrained : The cross section is unconstrained and placed on the Normal Plane of the path.

    • Tangential : The cross section is placed perpendicular to the assigned path, and the rotation within the cross section is constrained in the Global-Z axis direction.

    • Parallel : The cross section is constrained in the direction of the Global-Z axis.

  • [Rotation]
Set the angle of rotation and how the rotation will be applied when rotating the Curve Library.

Using the Curve Library with the above shape as an example,

  • Offset Only : The rotation of the Curve Library in Direction 2 is fixed, and only the rotation of the entire layout in Direction 1 occurs.

  • Objects Only : The rotation of the entire layout in Direction 1 is fixed, and only the rotation of the Curve Library in Direction 2 occurs.

  • All : Both rotations of the entire layout in Direction 1 and of the Curve Library in Direction 2 occurs.

  • [Preview Level]
Set the style of the Preview that appears during the assignment process.

Reference -

  • [Section Variation]
Set whether to apply the Superelevation when assigning the Curve Library to the Base Mode later through the Assembly Unit.

    • Rigid : Superevelevation is not applied to the corresponding Curve Library.

    • Deformed : Apply Superelevation to the corresponding Curve Library.

  • [Reference Point]
This block appears when the Deformed option is set, setting the reference point for Horizontal Distance calculation used when applying Superelevation.

    • If the Number of Ref. Point is set to 1, only a single Ref. Point can be entered, and that point becomes the reference point for the Horizontal Distance calculation.

    • If the Number of Ref. Point is set to 2, two Ref. Points can be entered. Superelevation is applied only outside of the two points, and the Horizontal Distance is calculated from each of the two points.

The Reference Point setting is used to set the Level section in some segments of the Path Linked Entity within the Curve Library, or used to apply Superelevation to only some segments. To set the Reference Point, the user needs to first set the Vertex Group in the User Section of the Curve Library.

Reference -

  • [Match between Guide Paths]
If turned on, the Guide Path created in the Curve Library can be connected to the Guide Path created in the current Assembly Unit.

  • [Select Guide Path (Curve Library)]
Select a Guide Path to match the Guide Path in the Assembly Unit Mode. The Guide Path in the previously selected Curve Library is displayed in the list.

  • [Select Guide Path (Assembly Unit)]
Select a Guide Path in the Assembly Unit Mode to match the Guide Path selected above.

  • [Guide Path Table]
After selecting both Guide Paths in the Assembly Unit Mode and Curve Library, click the Add button to add it to the Table. The user can change the matching relationship by selecting the row and clicking the Modify button.

  • [Structure Matching]
Sets whether to match Curve Library Structure data to Assembly Unit Structure data.

    • Off : Does not match Library Structure data.

  • Library Structure

    • The top item of the Curve Library Structure data to be matched with the Assembly Unit Structure data is output.

  • Assembly Unit Structure Table

    • The structure data defined in the structure function of the assembly unit is displayed in the table.

    • Select the structure data to be matched with the Curve Library structure data from the table.

    • Off : Quantity is not calculated in Library units.

    • On : Quantity is calculated in Library units.

  • [Material Type]
Select the material type for the work type setting. When selecting a material type, you can set the sub material type and work type registered in the material. Library unit quantity calculation is provided only in User Defined form.
