Overview

midas Drafter is a program that provides 2D CAD drawings linked to 3D models of midas CIM based on 2D CAD capabilities. In Information Mode, you can create or edit 2D CAD linked to CIM. In CAD mode, you can work on CAD drawings freely by applying general 2D CAD functions. In the CAD mode, you can work on the cross section created in the Information Mode. If you keep the reference state, the CIM model will be updated in the CAD mode.

Basic concepts

Drafter can preset drawings in CIM's library and manage them by storing them together in a CIM Library file. Drawing settings saved to a CIM library file are updated when the CIM library is updated. You can draw wherever you want in the CIM model.

When you complete the CIM model and cut the cross section at the location you want to draw, Drafter runs in conjunction with the CIM and creates a 2D CAD section.
