Q. Where can I get a library that I can use between modeling?

 

A. midas CIM provides a library that can be used immediately in CIM.

 

You can download it from the CIM website https://cim.refined.site/Library Tab .

You can check the specifications and outline of each library in the library registration window.

If you import the downloaded library from CIM, you can check the LOD 200 ~ 300 level model applied to CIM Ver 1.0.


1. How to Download from CIM Homepage

① Access the CIM website https://cim.refined.site/.

② Move to the library download item displayed on the Library Page.


③ Expand the Library Tree list and select an available library.


④ Download from the library.


2. How to Import the Library Downloaded from the CIM Website

① Turn on CIM, register a new file name, and start CIM.

Base > Library > (Point, Curve, Assembly Unit) Find the library by type and import it.

③ Calls the Works Tree dialog. Invoke by clicking the Works Tree icon in CIM or by pressing the shortcut key ( Alt + ` ).

④ Move to the 3rd tab of the Works Tree and check the imported library.

⑤ If you find the library and right-click on it, an additional dialog is called up and you select Modify to enter the mode with the imported library.


3. How to Register a Library in the Library Catalog Built into CIM

.

When CIM is first installed, the library provided by midas CIM is saved as a catalog list.

After selecting these libraries, you can import them and use them for modeling.

The library stored in the CIM Ver 1.0 Catalog can be used in the same way as the library posted on the CIM website.

However, for the library posted on the product homepage, you can check the description and specifications of the library more easily.

① Turn on CIM, register a new file name, and start CIM.

② Click Base Mode > Library > Catalog .

③ Select the library to be used from the library list of the structure unit.

④ Click the thumbnail (picture) displayed in the library to be applied to the model.

⑤ The contents that can be imported are displayed in the sub window on the right, and when the relevant item is selected, it is automatically imported.

The SC-Pier model, which is a Point Library, has been imported.
