Feature Summary

[Shortcut Command : CV]

Add to section created from CIM Drafter creates an additional section.

Feature Explanation

Generate Drawing > View > Cutting View

It can be executed through the CUTTINGVIEW (CV) command or through the Cutting View of the View in the Generate Drawing menu.

Execute the Cutting View command → Section Name header setting → Section name numbering rule setting → Section name setting → Draw with 2 points to be cut.

Prefix Text <Section> : The value in <> shows the currently set Prefix value. It takes the set Prefix as the header and adds a number after it according to the setting. (ex. Section1., Section2, Section3….)

Number[Alphabet(A)/Number(N)/Manual(M)]: Displays prefix followed by number or alphabet according to the setting value of this option. The value after the last number or alphabet used is automatically appended. If Manual is selected, the user enters it directly.

Section Name <Section 1-1> : The value in <> indicates the name to be cut. This step allows the user to decide which name will eventually be applied.

Drafter's cutting section is created with the width of the section only as much as the size of the front and rear visible range set when cutting the view in CIM. Taking the above picture as an example, if the user combines the front and rear visible ranges in the Cutting Box to create a view with a size of 10m, and cut the section in the Drafter, a 10m long section is created.
