Explanation


Offset Feature

A feature that creates a copy by applying an Offset to the selected object.

  • [Selection Filter]
    Select the type of the target object. When selecting an edge, the filter works so that only the edge can be selected.

  • [Select Target]
    Select the target object to be copied by putting an Offset distance.

 Detailed Explanation (Selection Filter)

Set the type of the Target object to be copied.

  • Edge

Create a copy of the edge at a location that is offset by an Offset distance.


  • Face

Create a copy of the face at a location that is offset by an Offset distance.


  • 1D Member

Copy and create a 1D Member at a location that is offset by an Offset distance.

Copy and create a 2D Member at a location that is offset by an Offset distance.

 Detailed Explanation (Edge, 1D Member - Define Plane)

This block is activated when an Edge or a 1D Member is selected as the target object in the Selection Filter. You can select the plane on which the copied object is placed.

If no plane is selected, a copy is created on the same plane as the plane on which the target object is placed.

If a plane is defined, an offset is applied in the direction of the defined plane to create a copy.
