Drafter's CAD IDSave File is saved and integrated with CIM's file and saved.
Therefore, cimz, the extension file of the CIM, a cimz file, is used together, and you can directly open the cimz file in Drafter can be open and used in CAD ID without running CIM.

Works CAD ID operates based on Drafter DWG format. However, if you save the user saves the work as a project unit, it the file is saved in a file format called mdwg(Multi Dwg).
mdwg (Multi DWG): You can store and manage multiple DWG files by integrating them on a project basis.

Opens the cimz or mdwg file, which is a CIM file format.

  • Open Project
    : Opens the CIM file format, cimz or mdwg. When an mdwg file is opened, there is no interworking relationship with CIM.

  • If cimz is opened, you the user can edit the style of the drawing that is linked with the CIM, but you the user cannot change the shape of the object.
    For example, the shape of the reinforcing bar rebar or the shape of the section must should be modified through the process of updating the Drafter after opening the CIM and then modifying by opening CIM, modifying the model in CIM, and updating the model in CIMCAD ID, so it this is only possible while when CIM is running.

Note

If you open the user opens the same cimz file in CIM while cimz is open in DrafterCAD ID, it is recommended to run after closing DrafterCAD ID.

In the case of a cimz file already opened in CIM, the file cannot be opened separately in DrafterCAD ID.

In order to have a real-time interworking relationship between CIM and DrafterCAD ID, you the user must first open the cimz file in CIM and run Drafter CAD ID through CIM.

    : Save Drafter CAD ID File by integrating into CIM's file format, cimz.

  • Save project as : Save as mdwg file, a DrafterCAD ID-only format that has no connection with CIM.
