Enter the span configuration and the cable placement of the bridge. |
[Bridge Information]
Span Configuration : Enter the span length (span at start point/middle span/span at end point) of the Assembly Unit to be created. (Enter either 1 span or 3 spans (Ex. 1 span = 300; 3 spans = 125,300,125))
Pylon Type : Select the pylon type.
Anchor Type : Select the anchor type of the cable.
Cable Type : Select the number of faces of the main cable.
Info |
---|
The current Pylon Type creates the H-type pylon regardless of selection. Use a separate library if necessary. |
[Guide]
Shows the variable information that defines the span configuration.[Configuration]
Cable Length
Lsc : Enter the horizontal length of the cable from the cable start point to Pylon 1(left pylon).
Lec : Enter the horizontal length of the cable from the cable start point to Pylon 2(right pylon).
Anchorage Elevation
Hsc : Enter the anchorage elevation of the cable start point relative to the design level.
Hec : Enter the anchorage elevation of the cable end point relative to the design level.
Cable Sag
SL : Enter the amount of sag of the beginning span main cable.
SC : Enter the amount of sag of the middle span main cable.
SR : Enter the amount of sag of the end span main cable.
Hanger Anchor. Spacing
W : Enter the spacing of the girder hanger anchor in the perpendicular direction.
Cable Spacing
Ws (at Start) : Enter the cable spacing from the cable start point in the perpendicular direction.
We (at End) : Enter the cable spacing from the cable end point in the perpendicular direction.
Wp1 (at Pylon 1) : Enter the cable spacing from pylon 1 in the perpendicular direction.
Wp2 (at Pylon 2) : Enter the cable spacing from pylon 2 in the perpendicular direction.
Wm (at Span Center) : Enter the spacing from the span center in the perpendicular direction.
Info |
---|
For a three-dimensional main cable that has variable cable spacing, Wm is automatically adjusted to be set on the plane that connects Wp1, Wp2, W, regardless of the entered value. |
Cable Height at IP
H1 : Enter the cable height at IP from the design level of pylon 1.
H2 : Enter the cable height at IP from the design level of pylon 2.
Distance from Deck to Pylon : Enter the location of the reinforcement girder transverse cross section.
G11 : Enter the transverse cross section distance from center of pylon 1 towards the start point.
G12 : Enter the transverse cross section distance from center of pylon 1 towards the end point.
G21 : Enter the transverse cross section distance from center of pylon 2 towards the start point.
G22 : Enter the transverse cross section distance from center of pylon 2 towards the end point.
Info |
---|
For a short span, G11 and G22 values are not considered in the model. |
Hanger Distance
Left : Enter the interval distance of the hangar cable for spans on the left (start).
Center : Enter the interval distance of the hanger cabler in the middle span.
Right : Enter the interval distance of the hangar cable for spans on the right (end).
Hanger Vertical Location
Hv : Enter the hanger cable’s vertical location based on the design level.
Expansion
Start : Enter the length of the expansion joint at the start point.
End : Enter the length of the expansion joint at the end point.
Info |
---|
The hanger distance must be entered in the direction of start to end point, and for short spans, hanger distances for left and right are not considered in the model. |
Cable Tab
