This function is to project the vertex / edge on the work plane to the edge / face.

Copy Option

When the option is checked, the target object is copied to the Tool object.

Target type

Select your target type. You can choose Edge or Vertex.

Define direction

Displayed when Target type is Edge

Info

Set the projection direction.
In the case of Shortest Direction, it is projected in the direction of the minimum distance between the edge and the face.
If you set a Direction Vector, it will be projected in that direction.

Option

Info

Infinite tool : Projection assuming the tool object is infinitely extended.
Imprint to tool : Projection to be included in the tool.
