How to use cutting view

The feature can be executed by using the Shortcut Command VIEWCLIPPING (VC) Clipping View [VC] or by selecting the Clipping View feature in the Generate Drawing menu.

Execute the Clipping View command → Set the offset distance → Set the section name numbering order → Designate the first point → Execute the offset direction.

Offset distance: The offset distance refers to the section of the object to be that will be ommitted.

Match Line Distance: Match Line Distance refers to the distance of the section that has been clipped.

    Execute Clipping view from the tree menu or enter the shortcut key VC in the command window.

    • Specify clip view offset distance [Specify preview offset distance(P) <1000> : 1000
      : Specifies the offset distance to be expressed by cutting the member.

    • Specify preview offset distance(P) : P
      : You can specify the offset distance between part cut lines to be displayed in the preview.
      If you enter the same value as the clip view offset distance, the length of the member is fixed and only the member is cut.

     

    • Specify first point or [Undo(U)] :
      : Specify a point to be the location of the first part cut line.

    • Specify next point
      : Specify the point at the next location where the part will be cut.
