Set the User Dimension in Information Mode. If this dimension Dimension is set, when and the section update occursis updated, the dimension Dimension is also updated according to the section. In addition, this dimension Dimension can be automatically copied to other objects via Smart Match.

Linear Dimension [Shortcut command: LD]: Draws a linear dimension line.

Aligned Dimension [Shortcut command: AD]: Draw an aligned dimension line.

General Concepts

Dimension Dimensions created in Information Mode is are marked with a red lock on the right. If the lock is marked as locked, it means that the object is a dimension that is updated together when the model is updated. User Dimension is displayed with a padlock lock when the origin is placed on the member created from CIM. Even for an object created from CIM, if the origin is set on an object such as a Tendon or Rebar, the lock is will be displayed as unlocked and is the model will not be linked according to the update, so the model will not be updated.

  • Linear Dimension: Creates a linear dimension.

  • Aligned Dimension: Creates an aligned dimension.

  • Arc Length Dimension: Creates an arc length dimension.

  • Radius: Creates a radial dimension.
